Alggin is an active participant in the community holding memberships in various associations including the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Alberta Safety Partnerships Association, Merit Contractors Association, SMACNA, SMCAA, the Partners in Injury Reduction Program, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.

Skills enhancement through education is supported through our involvement in the Career RAP program, the Youth Employment program, YWCA Women in Trade and the Skills Canada competition.

In recognition of our founder, the Alggin Metal Industries Gino Bianchini Memorial Scholarship provides an annual scholarship of $1,000 for an apprentice in the sheet metal trade. Applications are available for this year’s scholarship. Click here for more information.
